Prior to working with Darlene, I had a few bad experiences with other Realtors who tried to push me into buying a home I really did not want. Initially, I viewed Buyer/Agent relationships as nothing more than a business venture. Having Darlene as my buyer's agent totally changed my view. She is kind, smart, hilarious and personable. Going on tours felt very relaxing. It took 17 months for me to find the perfect home. During those months, I had countless tours and visited a number of homes. Thru rain, snow and intense summer heat, Darlene always showed up with a smile even when I was late, which was often. When I became frustrated with looking for a home and in some cases was contemplating just settling for any home, Darlene offered pros and cons of each home we went to see. Without directly telling me to not buy a home she knew was not right for me, she helped me to see that some of my choices might have been made out of frustration. That truly built trust in Darlene. She genuinely cares about the people she works with. She has a conscience and is not trying to just get a commission. She had great contacts for so many things like mortgage consultants, home inspectors and lawyers etc. Each person she referred has been professional, knowledgeable and pleasant to work with, just like Darlene.
