 I grew up in Delaware County, Pennsylvania graduating in 1967 from Archbishop Prendergast High School. After graduating, I was employed at INA (now known as CIGNA Corporation). I met and married my husband, Dave, in 1969, moved to Delaware in 1974 and together we have raised three sons and a daughter. We have since been blessed with 8 grandchildren who are the light of our lives. My real estate career began in May, 1987 with Heritage Realty and in 1990, I joined B.Gary Scott Realtors later known as Prudential Fox and Roach. In 1999, I was introduced to the Re/Max real estate business model and, as the saying goes, the rest is history. I am licensed in the State of Delaware. I have attended extensive education classes to earn several national designations including the coveted Certified Residential Specialist (CRS). I am a proud member of the National & State Association of REALTORS as well as the New Castle County Board of REALTORS. I, also, hold membership in the New Jersey CRS Council. What I love about this chosen career is seeing the faces of my satisfied clients when they realize that they are now homeowners. For some, it was something they never thought possible. Me, I knew it all along.
Meet Dave Woodside, Administrative Manager
I grew up in Delaware County, Pennsylvania graduating from Collingdale High School in 1963. I attended Temple University and Penn State University with a Major in Communications. I am a Vietnam Era Veteran. I proudly served in the US Army ASA (Army Security Agency) for four years. I retired in 2003 from a successful 35 year career as a Manager in Network Operation for Verizon Communications with offices throughout the Mid-Atlantic region. As the Administrative Manager & Transaction Coordinator for the Woodside Connection, I maintain the web based program we use for all listings and sales keeping our Buyers and Sellers informed about the progress of their transaction.
Darlene & I have been married 41 years. You can say this is a family business.
